Just a small thing to add, check DCS_ControlAPI.txt in DCS/API

 

below is the relevant bit of info:

 

LuaExport API 'Lo*'

The available calls are:
   LoGet*
   Lo*Coordinates*

These 2 calls are NOT available on clients, unless server.advanced.allow_object_export=true
   LoGetObjectById
   LoGetWorldObjects

Thanks Grimes. Would you know why it has been made an option? Seems to me it needs to be checked all the time then. Does it apply to lotatc too?

 

Its always been an option, it just wasn't part of the GUI when making a server.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

For my Server its disabled but one can download TacView Files via FTP after the mission has ended.

 

AFAIK it's possible to 'cheat' if enabled by watching TacView LiveData.
