TwoLate Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 My push to talk for teamspeak works in 1.5 but not in 2.0. Anybody else having this issue? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Shmick Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Not here. Is it mapped to something in 2.0 as well, perhaps?
TwoLate Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Not here. Is it mapped to something in 2.0 as well, perhaps? Hmmmm Thanks for reply. So you can map push to talk for teamspeak. 1.5 my teamspeak push to talk works but not in 2.0 When I exit 2.0 then my push to talk works on desktop. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jcbak Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Go to OPTIONS, CONTROLS in 2.0 and depress the key that you use for push to talk. See if it is mapped to something in DCS 2.0. NeilWillis Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'd never recommend a live mic. It isn't difficult to map a button. There will be a simple explanation for the problem I am sure, and a live mic is very unlikely to be a good solution.

TwoLate Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Ok I guess no one who plays Multiplayer who has seen this post has their push to talk working in 2.0. I have a Warthog Thrustmaster and is using the mic up button. Right now I am using the toggle mute in teamspeak and that works using the same mic up key. Strange I will keep digging. msalama Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Or use voice activation and set the threshold so they can't hear you breathing.Meaning you're going to use it as a harsh noise gate clipping out everything spoken quietly too. No. Just map a key/button and be done with it ;) The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Ragtop Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 One of my sqn mates had this tonight in 2.0. Quitting TS and running it as Admin solved the issue. 1 476th vFG Alumni

Rep to you. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Shmick Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Not really a great solution though, you shouldn't have to do that. Did you check whether your TS mic switch is also mapped in DCS 2.0?
Ragtop Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'd say if it works it's pretty great. It's nothing to do with keybindings. If the app isn't running as admin, keypresses don't make it to TS. 476th vFG Alumni
