Printable Sheet for Saitek X-55 Rhino & Logitech G510

Hi.

 

After buying my new X-55, I need a labeling solution for throttle base.

 

I created a printable sheet for X-55 Rhino throttle base and Logitech G510 keyboard. You can print, cut and fit on the switches and keys for labeling. You can download the zip file that includes a Photoshop (PSD) file and a TIFF file (for non-Photoshop users). So, you can modify or directly print it on a "acetate" or a similar material. PSD file also includes texts, ready to be printed on "adhesive sticker paper". Of course you can edit text according to your DCS module and your switch or key configuration.

 

Please see the pictures. Yes I know, labels on the result seem a bit ugly. Maybe instead transparent acetate, a solid material can be seen better with white labels.

 

Warning: Please select carefully the material. Your printer's inner heat can melt it inside.

Today I was lazy to print it on acetate.

I printed it on paper and cut and placed.

Done.

I stopped printing on acetate or adhesive papers. I print directly on A4 paper, cut and place on the throttle.

Easy and fast.

I like the idea, which is kinda the same i had in mind for my CUB's. For those who want to make their panels themself.

 

But you should try to print it in black with white text indead...

 

The idea however is not mine, its Mike's....

I have an idea, to combine the two:

Make the clear acetate cutout, but only make one, and do not print on it.

Then print your button assignments on paper only.

Now you put the paper first, then the acetate on top.

 

Now you got the best of both worlds:

The cheap and easy paper printout, and the acetate on top to protect it and make it more resilient to wear. :)

And you can still easily change button assignments by changing the paper. :)

 

(And, very nice idea by the way, will try it on my Warthog throttle. :) )

It's in the zip mate.

It's included in Device_Sheets.psd (Photoshop) file.

 

It's hidden now, you should "show" the folder layer and "hide" other layers.

Great job mate, but i would recommend adding "/X-56" to the thread and user files, i only found it because i knew i saw it somewhere. I'm buying X-56 so naturally i was searching for X-56, but X-55 is basically the same thing in regards of button layout.
