jimblue74 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 hello all, just yesterday I discovered that I could get for free the "nevada terrain", because I had purchased the module "A10C" in beta. Now I'm downloading. I know that it works only with version 2.0. I have some questions: There are campaigns? (excluding that I can purchase on the site) Missions generator works for all planes or just for those in the "FC3" module? Thanks
Fab Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Nevada is still in Beta, so therefor Fast mission editor aint active yet. Normal mission editir and campain editor is active. There is no campaigns except the one you can buy at DCS.. King_Hrothgar Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 The full mission editor works just fine and is going to be your primary source of missions for the moment I think. It works all playable and non-playable units in DCS. I do not know the status of the instant action or quick mission generator functions.
FlyGuyF119 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 on the mission editor its not capable of setting the Russian tanks to Start Enroute Task- FAC Engage Group. Cavemanhead Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Where can I read a manual on how to use the mission editor... All I want to do is put myself in an ME 109 with a few planes doing touch and goes ad naseum as I'm practicing TOs and landings...

SneakyBastd Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) I don't know of a mission editor manual, but it's easy enough to setup. Run mission editor. Choose new mission. Click on the aircraft button at left, and click on the airbase you want to take off from. Change plane type to the one you want to fly of course. In the details tab on right, change the skill level I think it is to "client". That means you fly it. Set the first waypoint to "take off from ramp" for a cold start. You can add more waypoints if you want. Put the last one on the airfield and set the type to "land". You can change your loadout with the 2nd tab, the one right next to the waypoint tab which is selected by default. Save the mission, and then "fly mission". You can add other aircraft easily enough using the same method. Choose a different country for them. That should be enough to get you going.
