Can't login to DCS In-Game

When I tried to login to my ED account in the game, it wouldn't let me. I didn't get an error message or an invalid username/password message or anything. But when I hit the submit button or I hit enter, nothing happens. It just stays at the DCS User login screen and doesn't log me in. I've tried restarting the game numerous times but it won't work. I am, however, able to log into the 2.0 alpha, just not with the current version. This has been happening with both the standalone and Steam versions of the game. Because of this, I can't get the FC3 module that I have on Steam onto the standalone version. Has anyone had this problem before and if so, is there a fix?

 

 

Edit: SOLVED. I just had to perform a fresh reinstall

Neither 1.5 or 2 connects to DCS servers. Also can't check for updates either.
