pengjn Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I've got an EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hybrid, which has its own water cooling loop built in. It runs fast and super cool. I've yet to overclock it but I will. I do get coil whine but I've only just built the machine and run DCS a few times - pretty sure I only get whine at the main menu not during play. I am suffering some stutter but I think is likely due to software version/configuration rather than the fault of the card. dburne Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 While I do not have a 980TI, I do have an EVGA GTX 970 FTW, and have owned several EVGA cards in the past - they are all I have used for many years now. I have found them to be top notch, and their excellent support is very well known as well. I would love to have a 981 Ti now, but am waiting for next generation at this point. But if I did, it would be an EVGA. Ill bite in my ass when pascal comes out, but there was no other Option... 9900k, 2080TI, 64GB, ssd, valve index, Thrustmaster on virpil, virpil cm2 throttle, tpr pedals, mfd.
