ScEBlack1 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Is it possible to set it so i can fire 2 Vikhr's at the same time with 1 push of a button? thanks all.
S77th-konkussion Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Other than an advanced command mapping that out in your stick software- I'm going to say "nyet" FYI- I have not yet encountered a vehicle that can survive a single Vikkie. In fact- The other day I was surprised to see an Elnya (Elyna??) sink with but 4 of them. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
ScEBlack1 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 Thanks Konkussion, hey ever record any of those su25 tracks to send? see you later mate.
Force_Feedback Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 In that recent Russian video of the su-25t, you could see the Vikhr A-A test film, it fired the Vikhr at 2.7 km behind the drone (il-28), and the missile went straight almost immediately, and hit the drone in the middle, and it exploded with a big bang. Let's hope the Vikhrs will be that way in Black Shark. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Maverick-90 Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 FYI- I have not yet encountered a vehicle that can survive a single Vikkie. You've not been meeting many vehicles have you? T-80 needs two if you don't attack it from directly behind, BTR's, BRDM's, and Trucks only need one but try to kill a Tank Head on with a vikhr..you'll need at least 2

Force_Feedback Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 But we will be able to blow up fat planes like the f-15 and su-27 ;) Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
GGTharos Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Only if they fly straight at you or straight away from you (or in general, maintain LOS rate) and more or less co-altitude as well ... in other words, don't count on it. Negative on that Tharos, I have hit many planes a 90 deg's from me with Vikhr's. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Zuki" Resident mud mover CH HOTAS untill it breaks(for life)! GGTharos Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 He's talking about it in BS Exactly right ;) It will still be effective given that it is probably the launch won't be seen, but you -will- be aspect limited against fast movers.
