Sokol1 (thank you) posted this on the SimHQ forums... figure it might be interesting for everyone here as well. Seems as if this is an initial design idea of the first VKB stand-alone throttle quadrant:

Not sure what you're referring to, Platypus; maybe this thingy here: https://flightsimcontrols.com/store/joysticks/gametrix-ecs-throttle/ <<< if so, that's been on the market for some time already...

The one shown above seems to be leaps and bounds ahead - judging by VKB's quality design features. Guess they're shooting for a WW2 design with that one.

This ECS throttle was a low cost standalone throttle option developed - controller and sensors - by VKB years ago for Gametrix (Russia/CIS market hardware distributor).

To maintain cost low Chinese industry reuse old Saitek X-36 molds. Molds are the most expensive part in joystick project. Is not a VKB product.

This sketch* show something of what was said about their first throttle:

"The first model will be stylized throttle of WWII aircraft .

This is not a copy of the (real) throttle.

Design style close to the Fw-190 and Mustang."

* Supposedly one of his commercial partners forbid show pictures of unfinished products.

I like, I want adjust mixture, prop pitch, radiators of this planes with levers, not with "HAT corners". :)
