YoYo Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 1.5.3. Here is a problem if You rearm from Cold and dark (ramp start) and use "Ground crew" option for Rearm and Refuel. I always have this light "on" on the warning panel "CONF" (Configuration?). I have tank, 2x530 and 2x550 so nothing strange. Didnt notice it in 2.0.1. gospadin Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 In theory, it means your FBW Gain switch is in the wrong position. My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
codefox Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 In theory, it means your FBW Gain switch is in the wrong position. Guess you were talking about the FBW limiter rather than the gain switch. You wouldn't want latter to be turned on while heavily loaded. :) That switch is left to the gain switch. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
YoYo Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Maybe yes but here not heavy loadout. I'll check it again. Thx. codefox Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 The wing tanks are heavy. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Yes, sorry, FBW mode (right switch) not the FBW gain (left switch with cover) When the gain switch is disabled/changed, you'll get a red warning on that panel (DSV). YoYo Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 The wing tanks are heavy. Btw. on screen no wing tanks. Ok, it will be this, from manual: Charges Mode: This mode must be used when the aircraft carries any of the following load: non-empty centerline droppable fuel tank, any wing droppable fuel tank, any bomb or rockets pod. Air/Air Mode (Default): This mode is allowed when the aircraft is clean (no loads), or with a load limited to air-toair missiles (Magic and/or 530D) and an empty centerline fueltank. Thx, I'll check it in flight. Azrayen Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 There is a bug for the CONF alarm. Currently it doesn't manage correctly the central fuel tank. The manual is correct. The bug is known & declared internally. Let's wait for a fix :) = = = = = Now, second topic is that Yoyo got a light (CONF) with the aircraft cold & dark; this is not normal. And a quick flight yesterday lead me to think there is a "massive" bug in 1.5.3 regarding BATT and TR switches. I had no time to check further... but it's sure that with a cold & dark aircraft, you shouldn't be able to have a light on.

The battery and TR switches are on ("M") in that screenshot, so a warning light is okay. YoYo Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Hi, just did quick test. Here is Ready to fly (in the air). Configuration is the same 100% of fuel: FBW is set A/A - no Conf on warning screen: For heavy loadout is "on" (good position according the Manual): So maybe here is opposite side? Btw. I install this mod: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=161311 few minutes ago and CONF in C&D gone (2x550, 2x530, 1 tank)! Maybe its something in Weapon.lua file? Strange. YoYo Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Apparently in-game, the A/A mode allows a single, full centerline tank. Yes. I noticed that in C&D mode FBW switch is set to heavy loadout from default position, here was my problem, but according manual for each tank is good to set FBW for heavy loadout.
