R1Lawsy Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Hey All, Just wondering if you have an idea of how far completed this module is? Is there lots still remaining or its pretty close to release? BTW - the vids for the campaign look brilliant... Thanks James
PiedDroit Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I recommend reading this thread (you can start at the end to see what's being worked on). Giving a percentage is difficult to estimate, a common joke in the software development world is saying that 80% of the dev is done in 20% of the time and the 20% remaining accounts for 80% of the time :D

Giving a percentage is difficult to estimate, a common joke in the software development world is saying that 80% of the dev is done in 20% of the time and the 20% remaining accounts for 80% of the time :D The problem is that pesky 20%. We programmers are good procrastinators and leave the hardest stuff for the end. :D:smartass: 1 "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."

Sounds about right [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit
Azrayen Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 So ... 180% of development time? Sounds about right Mhmm... a little optimistic. Rule of thumb: time of actual developpement = time envisaged x π (3.14) :D
R1Lawsy Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 So i bought it... More awesomeness... Where is the manual though?
JG-1_Vogel Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 There is a small flight manual inside your DCS directory, Mods/Aircraft/M2000C/Docs IIRC. There is a lot of stuff in the module which isn't either enabled or working at the moment. Keep an eye on the update thread though since RAZBAM have a very frequent update schedule so new things are being added all the time. If you want to get a feel for the Mirage go on Youtube and look at the various DCS youtubers most have tutorial vids for the M2000C which helped me no end!
Azrayen Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 In the /doc folder of the module (like for every module, by the way ;))
R1Lawsy Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 Thanks folks... I am all over this, looks awesome so far...
