Boris Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Even though it's glaringly obvious, I have found no mention of this on the forums... the brides and overpasses on the Nevada map are all a lighter shade of grey than the roads. Does no one care? I haven't played on NTTR much as I can't sort out what to really do there aside from buzz the Las Vegas strip or zip through the canyon and do the same to the Hoover Dam, but I hadn't noticed. I often miss obvious things though  [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

jef32 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 It's not a major bug but you're right, that's hurting the sight a little. I think that it's easy to correct. possumkiller Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sometimes in the US the bridges are a brighter color because they are just concrete with no black asphalt like the rest of the road. Sent from my cheap Walmart Straight Talk phone using Google Chrome.
Boris Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 Sometimes in the US the bridges are a brighter color because they are just concrete with no black asphalt like the rest of the road. I had a quick look at the Las Vegas area in Google Earth and you're right, some bridges do seem to be made out of concrete and are a slightly lighter color than the roads. But then again, others aren't. The way it looks in the sim looks very strange I think. Sierra99 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sometimes when repairing roads with "Slurry Seal" The carry the repair over existing bridges to maintain a uniform road surface. Other bridges they can't due to weight and construction restrictions. SkateZilla Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 They arent supposed to pave over concrete bridges, stop short of the joint, and make a ramp down to the bridge surface (ie 1 or 2 foot long decline/incline of a few inches.) Some Bridges are Re-Surfaced But Joints are Left Untouched (creating a dip). https://www.google.com/maps/@36.2812795,-115.0607887,1201a,20y,180h,41.23t/data=!3m1!1e3 Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
flying rabbit Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 If they fix this, they should fix the shadow of the cars going under the bridges, too. :D
