LcSummers Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Hi, want to know how the INS / PSM align is working. There is a rotary dial, do i have to put it to the align mode and wait 4 minutes? Is that all? Thanks
TomCatMucDe Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 The INS hasn't been seriously implemented yet. It's one of the last big things that Razbam has yet to address. They have been recently busy with the Radar which imho more critical. They have done so far a great job. You can trust them that when they start looking at the INS they I'll will implemented in a record time
LcSummers Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Danke sehr für die Antwort.:) But does this mean that at the moment i do not have to align it, i can switch it directly to Nav mode. S!
TomCatMucDe Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Richtig. Not alignment is needed. But bear in mind that you can't navigate back in forth between waypoint now. Or at least not with the keybings.
Whisper Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 My "aln" light is permanently on, now, and the documentation states that it means INS is aligning. I guess I should not care much and do "as if" it was correctly aligned already, and fuctionnal? Whisper of old OFP & C6 forums, now Kalbuth. Yes Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
