zerO_crash Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Was wondering if its in plans, or possible, to expand on liveries for the Mirage 2000? I ask specifically Razbam team as I would love to be able to use these in MP, and would prefer not to do it the "unofficial way". Thinking in particular of these two: http://gull1.free.fr/dcs/mirage/3.jpg http://www.gaetanmarie.com/images/m2000/2000-03.jpg Of course, first things first (thinking of finishing the plane), but if time permits, is it doable by you guys? -=zerO=- Edited March 22, 2016 by zerO_crash [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
DonJosh Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) hello, a great prototyp skin by tom weiss can be found on lockonfiles it is easy to convert FSX-Skins (M2M M-2000C) to DCS World. i do it for me, but i dont know its allowed to upload the skins here. Edited March 22, 2016 by DonJosh
zerO_crash Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) DonJosh, yup, seen it. Still wonder if it`s possible for Razbam to add it as a standard skin in their pool. I`m sure more of my buds in BFU would love these skins. And then particularly in MP on our server. Kinda pointless for us to use a non-standard skin that looks different for you as well as for people otherwise (who don`t have this particular skin). We used to have ability to choose skins upon joining aircraft in BS1 (along with choosing ID number), but sadly that was removed later... which is why it would be great to have it in default pool of DCS liveries. Also, no problem with uploading skins here ;) -=zerO=- Edited March 22, 2016 by zerO_crash [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Azrayen Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) The Lafayette squadron (EC 2/4) is 100 years old in 2016. During WW1, it hosted American volunteers pilots. Its emblem, a Sioux head, is well known around here because TFC uses it as logo, too. A very very nice livery on a M-2000N => http://alert5.com/2016/03/27/ramex-delta-tactical-display-teams-paint-scheme-marks-100th-anniversary-of-24-squadron/ Perhaps someone can adapt it for our C? I know, not the same airframe, but it's so nice I won't nitpick (for once). ;) ++ Az' Edited March 27, 2016 by Azrayen
gospadin Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I think that once RAZBAM releases the official paintkit, you'll see a lot more high quality liveries spring up. We're past the most recent ETAs for release, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Skjold Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 New liveries are always nice but who knows, it is a decent amount of work. Thats a fairly good community made one, just a weird mix of low visibility and non low visibility markings.
