With todays technology anything like that could be home made using TV guidance etc.

true.. but I wouldn't think with the precision as witnessed in the vid ..

I'm not sure.. but I think it's based upon accoustic's and pressure (same thing somewhat) and can tell the difference between a fire cracker and the real deal..

(discovery channel I think... it's been a while)

I know that target drones used for live round training (AAA or aircraft cannon) have an accoustic sensor that detects how close are the rounds that woosh by and then you can calculate % of hit if it was a larger target (airplane sized). Smart UAV's could be using it to detect the same thing, but in order to manouver out of line of fire.

Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.

That explains the system and the flare dispenser (that didn't work/wasn't used btw)

It's amazing that this topic is still not locked, I'm truly baffled by this :hehe:

P.S. Just discovered that pressing CTRL+B/i/u will add the [i.][/i.] tags, cool

Or it could be to listen out for armour. Like the probes dropped on the Ho Chi Min trial. Unlikely, I guess due to the noise generated by the airflow over the drone masking any decent sound recording ability.

Would any of you allow someone else (League of Nations) to carve up your own homeland and give it to someone else?

You do realize you've just described the 1948 UN partition of an area continuously inhabited since before the time of Jesus and its subsequent distribution to principally European Jews, right?

Get in before the lock!
