jono6980 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Hi all. The cockpit for the a10c on the disc version of the game has clear markings on every instrument and panel, however in the 1.5 beta version and the download version all markings are a blurred and unreadable. Is there any way to improve this? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
GurbY Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Disc version...??? A10-C is download version as of a few years already... Uninstall what you installed per disc, download DCS World and install the A10-C download version with your (disc) key. Everything in cockpit is crystal clear.
Milli Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Turn up your textures to high or something like that. They are clear at or above a certain setting. They are blurry at low or maybe even medium, I can't remember exactly.
Remarkymarkable Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I had the same issue when I first started flying, turned up the textures and now everything is crystal clear
ex81 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I had the same problem at the beginning. Even if you set all other parts to low or medium, you must set Textures to High, because it affects the cockpit resolution. What goes up, must come down ! Pitot Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) 1. Set textures to high 2. If problem persists: "Mipmaps" are what causes things to be rendered blurry. ATI users can set it in CCC. For Nvidia users - ask someone where do you set it, I don't remember. "Mipmaps are duplicates of a master texture that have been pre-rendered at lower resolutions which a graphics engine can call when a corresponding surface is a specific distance from the camera." If none of the above solves problem, there could be an error with your GPU driver or your DCS installation that makes the game load wrong mipmaps. 3. Update your drivers if they're not updated if 1 & 2 solves nothing. 4. If you recently updated drivers, and your game looked normal before the update - install older driver. 5. If nothing helps, uninstall DCS completely, install again. 6. Still not better after that? Buy a new GPU when you can.
