  1. I'm not getting any FF in single player mode in the K4, P51, Spit or Jug. I have it in multiplayer...and yes, the FF box is checked in each module.
  2. I agree, I trust my Malware/virus protection a hell of a lot more than some game developer I don't know. I'll wait until this all settles before whitelisting any quarantined files. I've got too much invested in this to risk it.
  3. Malwarebytes is throwing 2.5.6 into quarantine everytime I try to go into a MP server saying it is ransomware.
  4. I haven't used the minigun but a couple of times, I don't like the headtracker aiming
  5. I have all 4 helicopters in DCS, my favorites are the Huey and Gazelle. I had been flying the Huey almost exclusively for the past year and recently picked up the Gaz. I love the Huey for it's FM and sling loading abilities in the game. With sling loading you can really have an impact on what's happening on the battlefield. I love jumping into the Mistral version of the Gazelle and shooting down the fixed wing planes that just gunned me in my Huey when I'm on the ground during sling loading....pay back :)
  6. Gizzy; by saying " 6 short "pulses" back" do you mean you are trimming the nose up?
  7. I call the ground crew, ask for the start, and if you listen carefully you can hear the starter motor wind up after about 30 seconds. Once the whirring sound levels off to a consistent level, pull the starter handle and release, the engine then starts. Most times I have to do this twice to get it to start. Good luck!
  8. OK, I just discovered that it does work. The ground crew just doesn't answer you. Go through the usual procedure to call for a start, you can hear the starter motor turning, pull the handle, release it and the engine starts.
  9. I just bought the 109 module and now it's broken? WTF?
  10. What happened to Chuck's?? I click on the links and get "file does not exist"
  11. I think it would be a great addition to the rotary aircraft in DCS World and a lot of fun to learn to fly. Please, pretty please?
  12. I am having the same problem losing the mouse cursor in the middle of an MP flight. Very frustrating as I have not been able to escape the game without it and have to shut down my PC to get out of the game. DCS takes up too much of my time as it is, never mind this crap.
  13. Not sure if this is the same that jackdaw is saying but, I drop a markpoint either with the UFC or CDU, then switch the steerpoint selector on the CDU to mark, fly the heading ATC gave me and the distance, then switch the steerpoint selector back to mission and come up on the runway heading
  14. When I first started DCS A10C and I couldn't contact ATC, wingman etc. on the radios, I assumed it was a bug in the game and flew around in silence. When I focused in on each radio and learned how to use them, I discovered that they work every time. If you call someone on the radio and get no response, you can bet that something isn't dialed in correctly or is not turned on. What's frustrating is how difficult it is to see the radio panel in the game.
  15. I am also having the same issue with the rotary control dial. I landed with one engine shot out and tried to call for repairs. I turned the dial to INT, keyed the mic switch on my TM HOTAS, and the rotary dial turns itself back to VHF-FM, leaving me unable to call for repairs. VERY frustrating! I will try the backslash key next time.
  16. I've noticed that when in DCS World 2 Nevada, you have to place your throttles in the idle position two times to start the engines, if you are in the Nevada NTTR try that.
  17. http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/DCS_A-10C_Guides,_Tutorials_and_Reference_Documents Hi Striker, Thanks for your informative reply. The first list is located under "Reference Documents" Titled " SAM list and their specs" posted by "roob". The second is located under "Weapon Employment" titled " RWR Threat reference cards" posted by "Toby23"
  18. Hi all, as I get sucked deeper into this SIM, I was reviewing ground threat documents in the "DCS A10 C Guides, Tutorials and Reference Documents" site and found some huge discrepancies in some of the documents. For example, in one list it shows the SA 11 "Buk" as having a maximum altitude of 72,200' in another list only 39,400'. I found similarly huge discrepancies in the "Shilka", the SA 3 "Neva", SA 8 "Osa" and the SA 18 "Igla". There are discrepancies in both maximum altitudes and effective ranges. Is there a list out there that is accurate? :helpsmilie:
