I've been playing around with using Prepare Mission in the ME to set the initial radio states of various client aircraft in a mission.

Everything seems to work fine for the Mi-8 and the Huey in terms of seeing the correct folders and lua inside the .miz file, and loading up the mission to find the radio freqs to be what they've been set to.

Not so for the KA-50. All of it's other folders are present like the Abris functions, but there's none for the R-800, so you can't use Prepare Mission to set up default radio states.

Currently testing what happens if you manually add the R_800 folder and the settings.lua to the miz file. Will update later.

From my memory this has been broken for a very long time, even when correct directories, etc are present they still don't work. Shame really.

Things may have changed without me realizing though.

Cheers.

Both ARK-22 and R-828 settings are moved in the Mission Editor itself hence in the mission file.

This is about using Prepare, and specifically about the R-800 on the left hand side of the pit.

For reference, altering the ARK and R-828 in the ME actually is just simply creating and updating the lua in the .miz so you don't need to do it by hand. Same for all the other radios that have ME options :)
