TMatzelle60 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I ment to post this here but since i like using steam will i have to worry that developers won't want there aircraft on steam or there maps. I know it takes longer to get on steam and all but i want to know if there is any chance that modules and maps might never come to steam ever
droopy114 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Not a Steam user, but from what i've read, Steam version for module/map only when the beta period is over. This is why for eg. the M-2000C is not on Steam at this moment.
TMatzelle60 Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Yea, I know that part i just don't want some Developer saying we don't want our module on steam
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 17, 2016 ED Team Posted April 17, 2016 I do not know for sure, but from what I have seen of the steam databases which are out in the public there is no need to worry as the list is long and getting longer. Yes, you will simply need to retrieve your serial key which can be found within your steam library and right-clicking on DCS World -> "View CD Key" then use this serial key to authenticate your module on DCS World. Another way to view your cd-key is by simply by clicking the "CD-Key" link on the right side menu displayed after clicking DCS World within your library as SkateZilla mentioned Can I use my modules purchased from ED Store on Steam? Note: from 06/07/2014, License Keys purchased from ED, Gamefly or other External Sources will no longer activate on Steam. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? TMatzelle60 Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 I just concerned. I have no problem waiting for the updates and modules to come out on steam. But I'm worried one day a Creator of different aircraft or maps will not be released or developers will say no to steam
