Tomahawk674 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Hello all, got a few questions for you all: 1) on the Mig-29, the mach meter, why are the 2 needles, one thick and one thin? what does each one tell me? 2) What are those sparkles or dots that I see from the inside in my canopy, specially during the morning? if noone knows what I'm talking about I'll try posting a pic. 3) I have spent a wad of cash updating my pc, it will soon be: AMD 3400+, 2Gig RAM, ATI X1800XT 512mb. Should I expect very good frames with this? What does this sim consume the most, RAM, Video card? I know it's a lot of questions but I would really appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!
warthogmadman987 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I have also seen 2 sticks on the mach meter. I dont know, not good with some of the russian craft. I dont understand the fuel meters in the russian craft and have never tooken the time to figure it out.
Ironhand Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 ... 1) on the Mig-29, the mach meter, why are there 2 needles, one thick and one thin? what does each one tell me? ... The thick needle is the Mach needle. The thin one is TAS (True Air Speed). For TAS, read the Mach Numbers X 1000. So, Mach 0.6 is 600km/hr, Mach 1.2 is 1200km/hr. etc. Rich YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.
