P51D won't install

I'm trying to reinstall everything and flaming cliffs 3 works but, when i try to reinstall my P51D I get DCS WORLD version 1.2.0 or greater should be installed.

Hi what version of DCS are you using, and are you using the in game module manager to install your modules?

 

please attach your autoupdate_log.txt which can be found in your main install location

 

and also your zipped logs folder which can be found in

 

C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Logs

Is it because I didn't buy it through Steam?

I see this now on their site, what I have is an .exe

Note. All products (modules, campaigns, terrains) should be installed via DCS World ingame Module Manager only. Dedicated installers will not be provided any more.

 

where is the ingame module manager?

if you are using steam you can only use modules purchased on steam,

however you can use modules purchased on steam with the stand alone version of DCS.
