ZQuickSilverZ Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I decided to go online and shop for rudder pedals. I am using the ones that came with the G940 and they are pretty terrible. It seems all the rudder pedals sold are "out of stock" on Amazon and Newegg. I have noticed a lot of Flight Gear lately being out of stock. This and the fact no one has stepped up and made another Force Feedback stick (since the awful discontinued G940) really concerns me. Are the controller companies abandoning us flight simmers? What is the deal? I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original. "Off with his job" Mr Burns on the Simpsons. "I've seen steering wheels / arcade sticks / flight sticks for over a hundred dollars; why be surprised at a 150 dollar item that includes the complexities of this controller?! It has BLINKY LIGHTS!!" author unknown. These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kayos Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Ya, i've noticed the out of stock problem before. Maybe they aren't making very many at a time? Not sure. Thrustmaster just announced new rudder pedals so they should be in stock soon. Not sure how good they would be. I don't think anyone has their hands on it yet. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
OldE24 Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) there are not alot of options and there are different price points and you wont find the nice pedals like MFG crosswinds on amazon, as they are made to order i with a lead time. http://mfg.simundza.com/products the new thrustmasters are priced in the PS4 market where above MFG's are high end beauties. Automan Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 New Thrustmaster TFRP is available on amazon stores, they are cheap and should have a good price/quality ratio (see http://nerdtechy.com/thrustmaster-tfrp-flight-rudder-pedals), but I'm waiting a more detailed review of this device. I was searching for a mid-end device like the Saitek Combat Pro Rudder Pedals, out of stock, but you can preorder them at crazy price of more than 400$...http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004ING996/ref=olpOffersSuppressed?ie=UTF8&f_new=true&overridePriceSuppression=1&sort=sip ACER Predator Orion 9000: W10H | Intel i9-7900X OC@4.5Ghz | 8x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport | Sapphire GTX1080TI | Intel 900P 480GB | Intel 600P 256GB | HP EX950 1TB | Seagate Firecuda 2TB ACER Predator XB281HK: 28" TN G-SYNC 4K@60hz ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas, TPR, MFD Cougar Pack, HP Reverb Pro

I took a look at those after I saw your post. I would not buy those. The pedals are too close together. I can't see getting good rudder control with the pedals so close. I need, I need, I need... ZQuickSilverZ Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 Well I can tell you this. If I cant find a pair of decent made, decent priced rudder pedals I may have to find another hobby for a while. I am not paying 400 dollars for plastic rudder pedals.................. The MFG's look good but I would like to know the total cost USD before I entertain ordering them. I need, I need, I need... agrasyuk Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I thought I read somewhere that saitek had problems with their Chinese factory, and that those Chinese hold saitek's tooling hostage. No idea how true is that, but I sure wish I had waited longer selling my saitek combats, lol. Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

MFG are high end device with an excellent quality for price, but I don't like their look: I prefer a military type pads like Simped F-16, Slaw Device F16 and Saitek Combat. MFG cost 256€+62€ for shipping, but you can consider also the BF109 rudder by Slaw Device if you find it used (No more produced) ACER Predator Orion 9000: W10H | Intel i9-7900X OC@4.5Ghz | 8x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport | Sapphire GTX1080TI | Intel 900P 480GB | Intel 600P 256GB | HP EX950 1TB | Seagate Firecuda 2TB ACER Predator XB281HK: 28" TN G-SYNC 4K@60hz ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas, TPR, MFD Cougar Pack, HP Reverb Pro
