Identifying targets using JTAC

Is there a way to use JTAC to identify if target on the SPI (lazed) is the one JTAC gives in his briefing?

Guess I am looking for a confirmation of target to destroy.

You can ask to JTAC to confirm if the target that you see, is the target you need to kill. Simply asking to repeat the briefing, then he will say "Tanks, or SAM, etc", if you see the targets are tanks, that's a confirmation. If something happens and you lost the contact, you can ask "What is my target".

You can also point your TGP at what you think is that he wants you to kill (and set a SPI there)and ask for confirmation. He will then say "that ia your target" or "that is not your target, target X meters to the south" etc.
