DCS saves which mission you're on automatically but it'll revert to older missions like that sometimes. To get back to mission 2, follow this:

Look for your logbook @:

C:\Users\[your name]\Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor and open logbook.lua

Look for the Gazelle campaign inside the logbook, it begins with this paragraph:

["created"] = "[your date]",

["player"] = "[your name]",

["campaign"] = "./Mods/aircraft/SA342/Missions/en/Campaigns/CMPGaz_en.cmp",

["status"] = "Active",

["history"] =

Look for these two lines:

["stage"] = 5,

["mission"] = "CMPGaz5VEN.miz",

They are different from the larger paragraphs that look like this:

["datetime"] = "05/09/16 12:14:18",

["agKills"] = 0,

["aaKills"] = 0,

["result"] = 0,

["deathsCount"] = 0,

["stage"] = 8,

["mission"] = "CMPGaz8VEN.miz",

Ignore these

For the two lines I mentioned; edit the stage value and the number inside the mission string (CMPGaz > 5 < VEN.miz).

So in mine it says I'm on mission 5, so I'll change it to mission 7 to get this:

["stage"] = 7,

["mission"] = "CMPGaz7VEN.miz",

Dying will do that. Stay alive to continue the campaign - it helps a lot.

ok well thx i guess:thumbup: in other campaigns i played i could repeat missions at least most of the time

Yeah, I agree that would make a lot of sense here, too.

The campaign system was developed with a full blown war in mind, when failing a mission would set you back to an earlier stage, and winning would progress a stage, so that throughout a campaign a player might advance some, lose some, advance again.

For story-driven campaigns, this doesn't make any sense, and campaign authors need to invest more work in order not to set players back one mission if they crash (or their PC crashes). I'm hoping we'll see this improvement soon. :thumbup:

i was trying to play diximude with a buddy of mine in coop but it doesnt show any other client spots so i just made it myself and luckily it seemed to work out. wasnt mission 1 to 7 setup for coop 4? thought i read something about that.

awesome thing would be if u could actually tune in on other elements to hear there coms and make them louder over the intercom panel if needed :P guess thats future music but u know.

im not a big fan of text displaying on screen immersion wise - option to disable "subtitles"?

just thinkin loud

great stuff, really like it so far!

over and out
