Hi

 

How do I get rid of the annoying cockpit pointer icon in DCS v2.0 ?

 

I would like the 1.5 version movement by mouse only, can't stand that thing following my view + can't get my neck round to point it to certain places anyhow ( eg useless and annoying )

 

Spent a while looking through all options but could not find it anywhere

 

 

Also is it possible to pit the Caucus map onto version 2.00 ??

 

 

 

Ps this feature works in oculus home bit absolutely not in a flight sim

DCS 2.0.x is an ALPHA, Many things are WIP and will change.

@SkateZilla,

It would be great if you added the pointer icon - lack of clickable mouse - into your Sticky about VR Status - Known bugs and future plans. Maybe we wouldn't see it pop up again in a new forum thread then - although, it certainly is the first thing that I would like fixed!

Secondly, I have heard from some that they get more stutter/judder with Oculus Runtimes 1.4 (than with 1.3) - have you heard/seen any indication of that?

I've had to fight with my GPU to keep it at full 3D Clocks, the Oculus Home App Likes to Force it to Stay at 500MHz, which cuts my FPS by more than Half.

I think I'm got very use to the 1.5 method using a mouse but would be better :

 

As 1.5 except :

 

Icon only visible lower down in cockpit

Is magnetic to controls (jumps to closest)

Controllable only with mouse

 

Might get a small roller ball control & attach to chair
