It's there for both AI and Player aircraft starting on the ramp. Answer: It's the parking spot on the airfield. Apparently, we can pick the actual spot on the ramp to park. Even in hangers. nomdeplume Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I also noticed that landing waypoints now have a parking option as well, so you can set AI aircraft to taxi and park in particular spots. When I tried this a few versions ago (on the Black Sea map) it didn't appear to work. Haven't really checked lately, but I did notice yesterday aircraft taxiing to where I wanted them. Not sure if just coincidence or if they were actually following orders. I'm not sure when this functionality was added but it was new to me, so just thought I'd mention it.
Grimes Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I believe the AI are supposed to taxi to wherever they spawned when its set to auto and go to whichever place you specify if its not on auto. I think the reasoning behind it was that the previous logic of where AI decide to go park at produced some odd results at some Nevada airbases. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
