Remarkymarkable Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Can someone be kind and explain to this old noob how to send chat messages to other players in MP? I have people trying to communicate with me and I don't know how to answer them. :(
Kelevra9987 Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Do you mean the DCS Chat wich you can access via LCtrl + Tab or do you mean the Datalink Message System of the A-10? Modules: Well... all of 'em ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VIII Hero | CPU: i7-6700K @ 4.6GHz | RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 | GPU: GTX TITAN X (Maxwell) | SSD1: 256GB NVMe SSD System | SSD2: 250GB Games | HDD 4TB WD Red
Remarkymarkable Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 I mean the DCS chat, not the data link
QuiGon Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) TAB is the primary key. By just hitting TAB you can show/hide the chat messages. If you combine TAB with either Shift or Ctrl you can type messages either to your allies or to all. Edit: It's kinda weird with the A-10C though. The function of the TAB key is somehow/sometimes/for some people assigned to the M key. Not sure when or for whom that is the case. Just see what works for you. You can change these buttons in the controls menue I think. Edited May 30, 2016 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
