FC3 Bug:FC15 C Player Control not available

Hi

 

I am not able Take control as player of the FC15 C and Su-27 Flight Modules , even after selecting SKILL as Player from Mission Editor.Mission starts with F-10 (map View) instead of F1 (cockpit view). I even tried Ralt+J to jump into the aircraft , but this too is not working.

 

Please guide me how to fix this Issue.

I don't know if this is your issue but I have seen such behavior if the module was not installed/activated for some reason (e.g. switching between release and beta).

Tried picking SKILL as Client , Though I select F15C from "Choice of Role" , Mission would still start with Map View with No Player Control. I have this issue only with F15C and Su-27 ,I am able to take player control Other FC3 Modules like Mig29,Su-33,Su-25.

Again, don't know if this helps, but I remember one other case when this happens: more than one aircraft set to "Takeoff from runway" (at the same airfield) in the mission editor.

Sounds like something is wonky with your installation.

 

"Player" and "Client" should both work; there can only be one "Player" aircraft though so selecting this on a second flight will revert the first to AI. Selecting "client" allows for multiple user flights.

 

"Takeoff from runway" in multiplayer will spawn you into a free parking space with a hot pit; this is a single-player option only.
