Gunfighter6 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Hi All, What are you guys using to record your .trk files? I'm reading about the Record AVI tool but can't seem to figure out if it's a tool inside DCS itself or a 3rd party tool like FRAP. Thanks! cichlidfan Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Fraps and Nvidia Shadow Play are definitely two favorites. I never tried Record AVI, after the first attempt and noting no documentation. I don't know if there is any coverage of it in the current manual or not. Devrim Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Record AVI is a mystery for me. Never understand what it is. I use Shadow Play. I like it than Fraps. Because SP doesn't change the contrast of what I recorded. fixen Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I like shadowplay. There is only one problem. You cannot separate audio tracks (splitting teamspeak, DCS and mic) which I find annoying. I don't understand why they have not implemented it yet. It has been requested many times.
ED Team NineLine Posted July 6, 2016 ED Team Posted July 6, 2016 Hi All, What are you guys using to record your .trk files? I'm reading about the Record AVI tool but can't seem to figure out if it's a tool inside DCS itself or a 3rd party tool like FRAP. Thanks! Record AVI is on the Mission Editor, it simply plays a track back and converts it to an AVI files, it works pretty good, its a little clunky, and its not for live recording only for tracks.
