Super 530 home on jam

I know the F-15 can fire it's missiles and have them home in on a jammer signal. Does the M-2000 have this feature?

Not quite sure why you would want it, I mean...In DCS you will ALWAYS be inside burn through before firing enveloppe

The M2K will burn through a jamming target before you come within Rmax of the 530 so no need to worry if you have a was or gci and a good wingman.

A few years ago, you could do that with the AIM-7 as well. If you shoot before you reach the burn through range and your opponent keep the jammer on, your SARH missile will fly HOJ though. I don't remember, if you have to break the lock before burn through.

 

Was a nice trick to kill some noobs, which fly straight at you with music on. But your missile needs a lot of energy, so minimum Mach 1.2 at launch.

Surprisingly the Super 530D may be capable of HOJ, seemingly for the AWG-9 in the F-14.

Oh of course, you burn through. I was flying the F-15 when I wondered this.
