This will depend on how finished the F-5 will be, when it's released into open beta.

The Mirage still isn't on steam, the Gazelle is - both are in a beta state, but one is more 'finished' than the other (to give just two examples).

And to judge if the module is finished enough for a release on Steam, afaik that's solely on EDs discretion.

The F-5E will be released in an early access state so it won't be released on steam from day 1 I guess. In May they were able to release the F-5E according to their testers but Belsimtek decieded to get the most out of their early access release.[/url]

It won't be day one, but from what I can say (I flew her) and from what you can see already (I'm pretty sure you saw my preview on either EDs YouTube channel or on my own)...

I'm quite sure it won't be long until the F-5 is going to be released on Steam.

But this is just an educated guess - based on what I have seen and keeping EDs release policy concerning Steam in mind!

beta modules should release to steam as well they selling out cheap for non dollar moneys

Oh they DO release beta modules on steam! This isn't a question of "beta" or "release version". This is a question of how finished the module actually is!

ED simply doesn't 'release' unfinished modules on steam. And I can totally understand why (the common Steam users will burn down the reviews, just to state one possible reason).

At least this is how I understand it :)

Of course I did! In english and german :D you could get a good impression for this aircraft and it was nice and clear!

However I can't wait to fly this aircraft that's why I'm using the standalone version instead of steam.

Same i had no problem with steam version, found it convenient as i have other games on that platform, but I switched only when new content started coming out Like 1.5 and 2.0 Nevada, and i wanted to play new content ASAP, is what got me to finally move to standalone. If it werent for that fact id still be using steam version to date.
