MARK ANDREWS Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 WHY DOES ED ALLOW THIRD PARTY DEVELOPERS TO ROLL OUT AND SELL INCOMPLETE,UNFINISHED PRODUCTS ? WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT MONTHS AND SOMETIMES YEARS TO END UP WITH A BUG FREE,FUNCTIONAL AND FINISHED MODULE ? IS THIS THE WAY IT WILL BE GOING FORWARD OR ED WILL CHANGE THIS POLICY ?? PLEASE ADVISE MA

adrianstealth Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 do what i do, dont buy them or take any interest I'll support/buy if i read/see a shining review of a finished product I've learnt the hard way to stay out of "beta's"
The Black Swan Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 M-2000c is beta and it is pretty fun... And from what I understand EDs modules are a little better in betas than sims of the 3rd party's. So it's just a matter of the particular aircraft GeForce GTX 970, i5 4690K 3.5 GHz, 8 GB ram, Win 10, 1080p
SkateZilla Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 WHY DOES ED ALLOW THIRD PARTY DEVELOPERS TO ROLL OUT AND SELL INCOMPLETE,UNFINISHED PRODUCTS ? WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT MONTHS AND SOMETIMES YEARS TO END UP WITH A BUG FREE,FUNCTIONAL AND FINISHED MODULE ? IS THIS THE WAY IT WILL BE GOING FORWARD OR ED WILL CHANGE THIS POLICY ?? PLEASE ADVISE MA 1. Early Access Allows the Developer to Roll out the Base Module w/ the main features to a larger user audience, hardware wise, this is invaluable, as there are millions/billions of different hardware configurations, you cannot simulate those in a Closed or Limited testing Environment. 2. The Data Collected from Point 1, allows the devs to fine tune and tweak 3D Art, 2D Art, Base Systems and Flight Models before the Official Release. 3. Opting into Early Access by Purchasing a Module and Installing it, is Entirely a End - User Decision, if you do not want to use Early Access Content, You can wait for it to be fully developed. 4. Caps-Lock, Dis Engage it... Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
