theGozr Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Thanks to help btw. I'm trying to brake but can't really slow down the plane enough. Is there an other set of brakes command for those 3 planes? Thank's Fly it like you stole it..
Stealth_HR Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Thanks to help btw. I'm trying to brake but can't really slow down the plane enough. Is there an other set of brakes command for those 3 planes? Thank's Basically, start with the lowered throttle, open brakes, once under 400 km/h open flaps. In a few moments you'll get a very stable, slow drift. The key is engine management as the engine's power output's iffy at best, too powerful at minimum and not powerful enough at maximum. Guest IguanaKing Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I think he might be talking about wheel brakes. I could be wrong...but I have the same problem. No problem getting her on the deck, but I can't seem to stop.
S77th-konkussion Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 The SU25-T has brakes? [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Ironhand Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 CTRL-D. Opens a door in the floor. Stick both feet down and press hard against the runway. Just make sure you have thick soles and heels on your flight boots before doing this. Hope this helps. Ironhand Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 As GOYA states: Drogue chute. "P" key. Just make sure you're under 260 (?) km/hr and throttle is set to idle. If not, you'll blow out the chute and still have to rely completely on those tiny little wheel brakes. Guest IguanaKing Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 LOL Rich! I just tried the wheel brakes to abort take-off and figured out why I wasn't slowing down much. I need to assign brakes to an axis because I'm popping the fuse plugs on the gear using the keyboard "W" command. Heh...when there's no rubber between the wheels and the runway, yeah, it makes it hard to slow down. Good stuff! I just wish I had watched it in F2 view, so I could see the shower of sparks.
SuperKungFu Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 no i believe he's not use to the AFM planes yet. Yes the AFM planes's brakes does take a long time to slow down so its normal. And no there's no other sets of brakes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
theGozr Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Did many came back from battle ? ;) Fly it like you stole it..
ARM505 Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Yes, but apparently they all end in a heap at the end of the runway. ;)
theGozr Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 A measing that they did manufacture them.. If they fly like in the simulator they sure to crash ;) Fly it like you stole it..
theGozr Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 To make shorter landings on the SU-25's you must mastered the side ways slides and or belly land for a metal to ground braking...:ermm::censored: :D or something is really wrong with my binded key ( like the trim trick ) Fly it like you stole it..
theGozr Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Notice the flaps landing position help quite a bit... but admit that ealier sliding is quite suspect.. ;) Fly it like you stole it..
Weta43 Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Come on - it's not that hard. You should be able to get stopped in about a third of a runway on brakes alone (no shute). Cheers.
Cosmonaut Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Your problem is you’re still using the runway ;) .... “Runway? We don’t need no stinking runway”. Su25T Landing Cozmo. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Minimum effort, maximum satisfaction. CDDS Tutorial Version 3. | Main Screen Mods.
