IvanK Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 not seeing this External transfer seems to be working normally for me. I started with 3 External tanks. Selected Inboard pylons initially. Roared around in AB. Left needle sat on 2000lbs, right needle on 2400lbs. after a while ext tanks empty light illuminated with light on caution panel. Left needle started dropping. Cancelled the light. Selected inboard pylons OFF and Cl on. Left Needle rose back up to 2000lbs. After a while EXT tanks empty light came on and left needle started dropping again. Turned off Cl then auto balance. So to me everything is working as it should.
Eddie Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 You won't see it unless you use up sufficient internal fuel before selecting an external tank feed to on. With partially drained internal tanks select any external and you'll see the fuel transfers instantly to internal tanks without any delay. In short this issue is only apparent if you don't follow normal procedure.
