112th_Rossi Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Hi Is anyone experiencing seriously long load times in DCS? From when I start DCS to getting to the main menu it can be up to five minutes! It appears to be related to the number of modules installed. With just the default free installation, load times are around 20 seconds or so. If I install modules I can be sat watching a load screen for quite a while. I'll make a video if required. Specs: Windows 10 AMD FX8350 4.0hz ASUS Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Edition 16GB RAM DCS is installed on a Kingston HyperX SSD.

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 25, 2016 ED Team Posted July 25, 2016 Takes about 20 seconds for me as well. Starforce has to do its checks at launch, so if you have loads of modules it will take a little longer. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? It would be better to check once a day rather than every time it boots up.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 25, 2016 ED Team Posted July 25, 2016 As far as I know it has to check them, as they have to load the protected .dlls I have all of the modules released and never timeout.
