Anyone else finding a difference in the VR cockpit texts between 1.5 and 2?

I used to find them hard to read in VR in both versions, but after getting my VR lenses, I found the ones in 1.5 became much more clear.

Unfortunately the ones in NTTR missions are just as bad. Maybe something was changed by the devs and only applied to 1.5 for now?

What is your pixel density set at? The higher the number the better the gauges should look. I usually use 1.5 or 2. Make sure you change it in 2 as well as 1.5.

1.6

Someone else just posted about this in the DCSW 1.5 & 2 forum. Don't know which cockpit they were referring to, though.

You know thats almost a riddle. LOL

Its a good job we all know that the former relate to a completely different item than the latter ones do!!! :D

i can confirm my NTTR cockpits are not as focused as 1.5

using the same settings and the same 1.5 pixel density

Will test more this week. But flew about an hour in NTTR with the Gazelle and had no issues reading the gauges with 1.5 PD. I also flew my squads mission night with VR in 1.5.4 with VR again using 1.5 PD and was able to read the guages.

Are you using the VR preset?

Are you using the VR preset in the system tab? Its right next to low, medium, and high. Or are you using customized settings there?

It's not the gauges that are the problem - it's the text on the buttons/switches/dials.

Reading the gauges (for me) was never an issue.

Have you tried with the VR preset? It's actually not bad at all. Will check my settings tomorrow when I'm at home and check mine.

i did try it but i get average 33fps and if i look at the ground its a major judder fest.

Edit: if i use a chopper its perfect as your low to the ground, its unplayable if in a plane

Well since this is the Gazelle forum how are your dials on the Gazelle?

With general VR issues there is a forum sub section in inputs.

in the gazelle i can see better in 1.5 however the vr prefix definitely worked better for 2.0 but i get a hit on fps which is frustrating.

im going to reinstall nttr and see if that imroves it
