Using the F-5 in an older version of DCS

Hi All,

 

I have been wondering if it was possible to use this model in a slightly older version of DCS (v. 1.5.3.53279.80)

 

This is due to the fact that this is the last update that allows for smooth formation flying due to the recent bugs that result in "rubber banding" whilst flying. The F-5 just doesn't appear in the module list in the older version and I was wondering if there was any way around this so that I can use this for my formation team.

No the F-5E can only be used from 1.5.4.55169

 

ED are looking into the formation issue, look out for future tweaks

c0ff posted an autoexec.cfg command to turn off network_fm w/ the latest 1.5.4
