I would like to present all of you virtual fighter/striker pilots with my illustrations of the official Yugoslav air force aerobatic fighter flying training program.

This includes basic aerobatic maneuvers for the aircraft type Mig-29A (designated L-18 by the Yugoslav air force), which can be practiced on practically any fighter/striker airplane found in FC3. I find that mastering this kind of flying will help sharpen your flying skills and improve combat efficiency.

Let start with the basic aerobatics maneuver:

1. DIVING HALF-SPLIT *

* - I couldn't find a proper English translation for this maneuver. Perhaps some one could correct me on this one.

Do you have a diagram of the different nose pitch angles for flying 360 degree circles?

I am trying to make the perfect 360 degree circles at different speeds and nose pitch angles.

Thanks!

More maneuvers are being prepared. Eventually the entire program will be posted here.

Next maneuver will be a hard-turn including 360deg ;)

It took me a while to get the hang of flying a 360 turn keeping the wing tip off the ground. If I keep in the 400 to 450 kts range I get a pretty tight turn anything above that I have to go wider.

I mostly try to mimic the Blue Angels. It takes about ten minutes to fly the routine so far. I got most of it down pretty good.

(I fly the F15c.)
