they do, have done for me as recent as today in both SP MP, been popping tyres on taxi & takeoff in the F-5 like no ones business, giving the gc a good workout :D

you have to completely power down the aircraft either before or after requesting repair,

then you'll get a 170 second wait for repair notification in top right of screen, after which, aircraft magically lifts a few feet off the ground then work commences, after a short time you're dropped back down again as good as new

Please carefully examine the screenshot

You can see in the top left corner: ground crew: COPY...

and then no 170 seconds countdown

(Actually an MP shot with completely stopped fans.)

Track files crying for repairs

Only one track recorded with the previous version, the others with the current 1.5.4.57013.162

(The older case is rerecorded.)

All of this cases: ground crew replies with COPY, without 170 sec countdown in a friendly airbase,

with completely stopped fans.

In the russian planes the mechanical systems indicator panel shows a nonlocked nosewheel

or at least the center dot is lighting continously.

A heavy loaded F-15C easily produce tyre damage during high speed rolling.

The F-15C track shows a drifting :music_whistling:

(The screenshots made with the 1.5.4.56500.155)

The MP shots created from a Su-25T only can do circling. The nosewheel damaged during strong

braking and sidemoving during landing.

The repair thing is good in a far-far away airfield, when spawn to that airbase is impossible.

In these cases ground crew said copy, but not start countdown to repair:

-takeoff

-release wheels at 650kmph IAS

-land with two rear wheels

-ground crew unarmed the plane

-then GC said copy to repair but do nothing with the untowable plane

For the love of god turn on anisotropic filtering

You might be running the game on an old system but AF costs almost nothing in performance even back in 2006 (especially 2X or 4X) and would make that runway not look like an oil painting.

System specs: i7 3820 @4.75Ghz, Asus P9X79LE, EVGA GTX1080SC @2100mhz, 16GB Gskil DDR3 @ 2000mhz, 512GB 960EVO m.2, 2 X 512GB 860EVO SATA3 in RAID0, EVGA Supernova 850W G2, Phantek Entho Luxe White. CPU and GPU custom water-cooled with 420mm rad and lots of Noctua fans.

ASUS PG348Q. VKB Gladiator Pro w/MCG, X-55 throttle and MFG Crosswind.

@Sideslip: I always using anisotropic filtering, but at low setting.

@BIGNEWY: Time goes by and no fix released yet. It is hard to mark a plane as damaged if someone second time asking for repair? Tire wear-and-tear not enough reason? Repair give us a brand new plane without any flaw.
