You know when your creating a mission and you go to try it out and all the american planes seem to start out on the runway side doing mach 1? what the hell is that? It seems to me that it is a bug for the american planes because all the russian planes work just fine. My squadron and I are trying to make a mission pack for just about everybody and would like it to actually WORK. Like right now our F-14's and F/A-18's work but the A-10 nor F-15 works right. If any of you guys know how to fix this problem....please tell me cause we all are dying to know. For instance I would like to know how the VBA's and VTB's made theirs cause their missions are perfect:smilewink: P.S. we are also in the process of making our first movie and when that comes out we are going to have the new map pack with it! So you can get your first taste of our "Legendary Tomcat" exhaust:thumbup:

Corsair7662 Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 like, when you create a random server, open the mission, select side/plane and hit fly. It loads and says hit (S) to start. you can already see it sitting on the runway and so when you hit "S" it goes right to your plane doing like 500mph and can instantly take off when I want it to be able to start up from the flightline. Like I said it is only effecting the American stock planes (F-15 and A-10). Our F-14's and F/A-18's are fine, it lets me just start up on the tarmac and taxi out but with those planes its an instant takeoff from the runway at mach speed.
S77th-GOYA Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I've never seen that before, maybe it has to do with the mod you're using. But check those planes in the editor for speed at the initial waypoint. And make sure they are set to "from parking area" and not "from runway".

Use the "Manage Attachments" button in the reply screen.

Strange to me too... Are You sure having clean installation or not messed up cfg or lua?

Can you post the mission here or email it to me? Also, maybe I'm being dense but I can't tell from your post if you are hosting this on a dedicated server or on your own machine with you as one of the players. Corsair7662 Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 I would but I actually got it to work, all the american planes require you to give them a name when making a mission. and also splitting up the aircraft groups like A-10 from one base and F-15 at another. I am going to post our main missions that we use as a team once I come into contact with my Lt. Commander which should be asap!
