To improve the readability of the text in the mfcd, do this:

Edit:

<DCSWorldInstallDirectory>\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\MFCD\indicator\MFCD_fonts.lua

edit line 57, changing the predefined_fonts[1] to predefined_fonts[2]

save and rejoice!

A hud text size of 58 works pretty well as well.

\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\HUD\Indicator\HUD_definitions. lua

Line 5, set to whatever you like, smaller numbers are bigger fonts.

mine is: new_K = 58 --Default: 73.5 Medium: 54 Big: 44

You probably want to edit these with Notepadd++ or similar.

Tested on Vive, with RTM at 1.2 and above.

I spent a whole day playing with the font sizes in the associated .lua's to try and increase the DSMS font to be more readable. I even tried swapping out the font to a more 'bitmap' style of font, but that actually made it worse.

I'll let you know if I make any progress.
