Sierra99 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Hey guys, Today while moving sling load cargo around on Nellis it seemed like the weight of cargo items not being removed from the helicopter when the cargo was released. To test I placed 3 items of cargo; 500lb, 1000lb and 2000lb. I pick up the 500lb item and moved it with no issue, I was able to move the 1000lb item but it took much more collective to get it off the ground. When I tried to pick up the 2000 lb item I could NOT get it off the ground with full up collective. I restarted the mission, selected the 2000lb item and picked it up with no problem at all. Soooooooooooo... I am NOT sure this is a bug...but it seems to be. I'll post a track when I get home if its not already identified. Kaszub Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I've noticed the same thing. After release off a cargo, there is some loss of performance of the helicopter. My friend from my group has reported the same thing. The problem is more noticable when the cargo is heavier.
