TheHighwayman Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I am working on a multiplayer campaign with a buddy and we are wondering if we can have custom skins made for the aircraft. Does anyone know if we can include custom skins for the mission? Thanks!
feefifofum Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 You cannot include them in the .miz itself, but as long as everyone has them installed there shouldn't be any issues. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
HiJack Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 You need to change the skin on the aircraft in each mission to use your own skin. Then you both needs to have the correct skin installed and of course fly the aircraft with that skin. Then you can see the user created skin.
Dhorse Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Hey, guys. This didnt work for us yesterday when we tried out our new VIGGEN skins :/ Any ideas? Thx :joystick: :pilotfly:
feefifofum Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 All players must place the folder containing your skin in the following directory: \DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\AJS37 Make sure the name is identical for all players. Add your skin to the mission via the Mission Editor. Make sure your server PC also has the skin pack installed if you're using a different machine to host. Should work then...haven't any custom skins for the Viggen though so I can't guarantee :) THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Dhorse Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 All players must place the folder containing your skin in the following directory: \DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\AJS37 Make sure the name is identical for all players. Do you mean the name of the "skin" folder?
feefifofum Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Yes, otherwise the game won't know it's the same skin. So for example: \DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\AJS37\DHorseSkin the DHorseSkin directory would contain the .dds files for your custom paint. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Dhorse Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 aaah, of course  We´ll look into that :pilotfly:
