The F-16 is famous for its low tolerance to AOA...wich is yet another misconception. Its max AOA is higher than that of the suckois or migs without overriding the system wich rarely hapens and is only authorized to few pilots. I seen one F-16 flying circles at extremely low speed arround this building wich is 1 click away from my house.

haha wow, that would be Red Flag. my question is, how do you know its an 18 because Red Flag is only for every "Air Force" of each county, not Navy. NSAWC is a Naval squadron a Top Gun.......

And what is the Air Force equivalent to Top Gun, hmm??? Do you actually think that the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps dont train against each other???

So in "reality" the F/A-18E-F can not only make the Tomcat hork up furballs in close in fighting, but spay or neuter it as well. The only real advantage the Tomcat has over the Hornets is speed, its radar, the camera, and the Uber-1337 AIM-54...many of which have developed cracks in the solid rocket fuel and most likely 1/2 of them work anyways.

^^^^radar? the APG-73 and 77 are NOT to be underestimated. Anyone knows their range?

Not me, but Im almost certain that the radar in the Tomcat exceeds the range the current Hornets have so they can lob them extremely large and extremely long range missiles they used to carry. It may not be as technologically advanced but IIRC its one of the largest radars in aircraft in service.

wtf are you talking about? there is no video of an 18E gunning a -22 or that pilot would get hit ass grounded, kicked outta the navy, and just plain put behind bars for friendly fire and his own manslauter. If there is a video...please share it with us all because there would be no such thing. Not to mention the raptor is over 40 million and that would really be a deep hole the navy would have to climb out of if that happened. UNLESS if it is a video of a video game and that is the own pilots problem that he sucks that bad to get owned by a bug.

Basically just put it this way, as Lawndart was telling me in a previous discussion that why would they scratch a 40 million dollar project for a test or in combat? there is no way!!!!!!!!!

There is indeed a famous picture of an F/A-22 in the crosshairs of a Hornet variant during an evaluation flight.

It is allegedly the only time a Raptor has ever been in the crosshairs of anything . . . . . . grin.

I suspect your numbers are ever-so-slightly off here, which does throw the rest of your, um, story a bit into perspective ;)
