Krasniye Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Hey all, I have done a bunch of liveries in the past, however they all used default or no numbers that appear and change in game. The reason for this is the livery didn't call for it or the simple fact that I have no idea what to do with the numbers. They always break when I save them like a traditional texture and I can't seem to modify them in anyway. To make textures I use the Nvidia .dds tool for photoshop, can anyone provide some insight? >>Find my liveries (new model MiG-29 Liveries!) and mods here<<
SkateZilla Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Make sure you're saving as DXT5 w/ Alpha Channel. Alpha Channel should have Black Background and White Numbers, RGB Channel should be a Solid Layer of the color you want the numbers to be. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
uscstaylor Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 This is a very easy to use program for converting your .bmp's to .dds files http://dxtbmp.joydownload.com/ Just open your files with it and save as dds5. Simple
