Konovalov Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Compared to what card you have now? As to problems with drivers and Windows 10 I can say that I had no problem moving from a GTX970 to a GTX1070 in Windows 10 system. microvax Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 There were huge DPC problems in some combinations, but it got better from version to version. Take a look here if you want: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/941579/geforce-1000-series/gtx-1080-high-dpc-latency-and-stuttering/ And well, DCS is unoptimized as it could be, I mean not getting 144fps or 100% GPU util is just bad. But 2.5 should solve that. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?
TomOnSteam Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 GTX1070 over a GTX970 most games get about double the frame rate. But I don't think this will happen with DCS until 2.5 comes out. I personally don't think it's worth the upgrade. The 970 should give you plenty of performance on a single screen. (until you get to 4k). Multiple screens, then yeah 1070 will be ideal. I only run single screen, so I'm going to wait for the GTX 1170 or perhaps GTX 1270 depending on how things go. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cockpit Spectator Mode
