looks like you perhaps defined an unintended 'snapview'

 

rename/delete your

..\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\SnapViews.lua

 

and see if this still occurs?

I am grateful for any information about how to intend snapviews.

I have two 1.5.4 series installations, and not exists *snapv* file in any of two "Saved Games" folder recursively.

Sad, but the first screenshot shows my first impression of the quality of A-10A.

Custom Snapviews are stored in C:/Users/<Username>/Saved Games/DCS.<Install>/Config/View/SnapViews.lua

actually,

I never use Fast Zoom in

 

I always use Slow Zoom in(/out) bound to my 2 HOTAS buttons

 

does that solve the bad zoom?
