atsmith6
Hi all Quick question in case anyone can lend a hand. I'm in the process of getting comfortable with the Mirage's radar. Does anyone know if there's an equivalent to the BMS F-16's EXP mode? This would help in sorting with multiplayer where I may want my wingman to, for example, sort the trailer. I've looked but I can't seem to see anything either here on the forums or the manual. Many thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated, or alternatively a confirmation that this functionality really isn't there. Regards A
jojo
It isn't there in DCS, and I never heard of it on RDI radar. I read about something like that on RDY so I don't think it would be secret on RDI... Mirage fanatic ! Frederf
To an extent this is a "nice problem to have" as in real life two airplanes flying Blue Angels formation do not show up as two really closely spaced symbols but one. Contemporary radars might show a single symbol for a flight of four with a button press to attempt an electronic count of how many that symbol represents. GGTharos
^^^^ F-15C SORT mode. They ditched (either literally or in spirit) EXP/RAID for this. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
