OperatorJack Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Just wondering are there plans to impletment a declutter switch/button for the Mirage's RWR as it's rather difficult to read at present. If so can you explain how it'd work? /да бойз/ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Veritech Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I am having the same issue as well, sometimes it gets hard to identify the source and type of the threat because the RWR is to cluttered. Zeus, are you guys planning to implement any changes that could help fix the issue? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Alis Aquilae Aut Pax Aut Bellum" Veritech's DCS YouTube Channel
QuiGon Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Indeed, decultter would be very useful at times. Does anyone know if there is such functionality in the real M2000C? Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Custard Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Indeed, decultter would be very useful at times. Does anyone know if there is such functionality in the real M2000C? I think it likely, and since our RWR is an abstraction of the real functionality I don't think a declutter logic would go amiss. I find it hard to believe the engineers responsible would allow a flight of enemy aircraft to appear as an unintelligible blob on the display. Surely a spacing logic like on the F-15's TEWS was included to some extent? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Erk104 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Even the F-5 has step functionality which allows the radar signals to be separated momentarily so the radars can be identified.
Veritech Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Again, is a Beta. Be patient. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Alis Aquilae Aut Pax Aut Bellum" Veritech's DCS YouTube Channel
Manzanita Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Bumping this from the grave. It's almost impossible to tell what's locking you in a highly congested threat area as there is almost no spacing between threats.
Kappi Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Indeed, decultter would be very useful at times. Does anyone know if there is such functionality in the real M2000C? http://www.avialogs.com/index.php/en/aircraft/france/dassault/mirage2000/manuel-pilote-mirage-2000-c.html Page 121 According to the pilot manual of the M2k there seems to be no declutter button or functionality. At least none which the pilot can control. Maybe there can be some signals filtered out before being displayed to the pilot. ___________________________________________ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Looking forward to it, Belsimtek!
