What does ""60% savings using bonus points" mean?

I'm a little confused on what the newsletter meant by "60% savings using bonus points". Does that mean I earn 60% more bonus points than usual? Or that using bonus points on a product in the list have 60% more value? Or something else?

Normally you can use your bonus to save only up to 30% if I remember correctly, so now it's 60% assuming you have that much bonus in your account.

I was trying to buy the "A-10C: Basic Flight Training Campaign" and there is no discount showing...

It was $9.99 earlier and even now during this 60% sale it is still $9.99.

Even when I am trying to checkout it still doesn't show any discounted price or doesn't let me use the bonus points ...

Am I missing something here ???

It isn't included in the sale. A lot of DLC is provided by third party developers - in this case Maple Flag.

 

I can understand entirely why you baulk at spending a whole $9.99 on such a great mission! It is a HUGE investment.

Hey as per the mail it is included in the discount and it is not just that 1 campaign that I am buying. I was looking for a few other WW2 modules as well.

 

Any discount is a good discount. :)
