Terzi Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I did a cold start and calibrated both ADIs nicely and took off. During the flight the main ADI became strangely banked and pitched. Any ideas why? No warnings received on the right panel and master caution is off.
Sydy Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Mine drifts as well. What I do is to press de "FAST ERECT" button on the right of the ADI. Maybe it's normal...
NeilWillis Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Gyro stabilized instruments do drift over time leading to quite marked inaccuracies. This is entirely in keeping with what happens in the real thing. Just fly straight and level, and re-align them when needed. 1
Fionn Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 I found them to do this bad if you don't have the dampeners engaged
